Krampus is returning—and this year, he’s bringing an even bigger celebration!

 

At Krampusfect, you don’t choose your weapon. Before each bout, Krampus will use his mischievous Anti-Claus magic to randomly determine what both fencers must wield:

Longsword
Saber
Rapier
and a new 4th option Rapier and Dagger

Will you draw your favorite weapon—or face your next opponent with something completely unexpected?

 

After the incredible fun we had at last year’s Tuesday-night tournament, you asked us to bring Krampusfect back. This year, MyTHS is turning it into a larger holiday celebration at Harford Community College!

Krampusfect is a lighthearted, unrated HEMA tournament filled with festive chaos, friendly competition, and plenty of cheering. Whether you come to fence, support your clubmates, or simply enjoy the spectacle, we invite you to join the holiday mayhem!

 

Don’t Own All Three Weapons?

Don’t let that keep you from participating! We will have swords and a limited amount of protective equipment available to borrow.

If you need loaner equipment, please contact us in advance at mythshema@gmail.com so we can determine what you need and confirm availability.

 

Protective Equipment Requirements

All competitors will need a complete tournament kit, including:

• Longsword-rated gloves

• Forearm protection

• Shin protection

• Back-of-head protection

• Additional standard tournament safety equipment

🚗 Directions

From South of Campus—Baltimore/Washington

• Take Interstate 95 North to Exit 80 for Churchville/Route 543.

• Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Route 543.

• Travel north toward Churchville for approximately six miles to the intersection of Route 543 and Route 22.

• Turn right onto Route 22.

• Continue to the traffic light at Thomas Run Road.

• Turn left onto Thomas Run Road.

• The Harford Community College campus will be on your right.

From North of Campus—Elkton/Wilmington/New York

• Take Interstate 95 South to Exit 85 for Aberdeen/Route 22 West.

• Follow Route 22 West to the traffic light at Thomas Run Road.

• Turn right onto Thomas Run Road.

• The Harford Community College campus will be on your right.
